We provide

Parent  Support

As the parent or caregiver, you have the capacity to make the biggest change in your child’s life and we want to support you every step of the way.

Monthly Workshops

Our monthly Kids First workshops are held on the third Saturday morning of each month and are presented by one of our highly experienced professionals. You are welcome to bring your kiddies along. We have limited space available so please book ahead of time. The workshops are designed to be engaging, fun and informative and you are guaranteed to work away with some practical strategies and advice. You will also meet other parents and carers for networking and support so it will be a morning well spent!

To respond to the needs of the community, we are also inviting local parents / carers/ teachers to get in touch with us if they want specific training not outlined below. Ideally, we would like at least 10 interested parents / carers / teachers to run the course so get chatting to your friends and see if anyone else would like to hear more on a specific area – this is a great way to access professional advice and share ideas.

Moms and carers support group

All professionals at Kids First SA are parents and we know how hard it is to be a mom. While we have experienced the emotional highs and lows, we acknowledge the important role friends / peers / networks have played in supporting us through the tough times. We want to offer parents the opportunity to get out the house, have a (hot!) cup of tea with a biscuit and chat to other moms while their kiddies play in a safe and stimulating environment. Each week we will have a different theme for the kiddies to explore and our fantastic helpers will be on-hand to look after the kids while you relax. Our Moms and Carers group will be offered FREE and will be run on Tuesday mornings every week from the week of 16th January.
